If you are seeking a volunteer opportunity that can make a difference in both your life and the lives of others, Special Olympics need you.

Many organizations utilize volunteers. Only with Special Olympics, can you walk out on the athletic field and see how your time and effort has made an immediate impact. All over the world, throughout the year, it can happen right before your eyes.

Whether you're coaching an athlete or staffing an office, handing out medals or celebrating a victory, timing a runner or rigging a sailboat — you're touching the lives of people who ask only for an opportunity to participate, succeed and grow.

Special Olympics athletes work hard to overcome the odds, and they can do it — with your help. They deserve the chance to compete, the chance to grow and the chance to lead both on and off the playing field. Give them that chance and you will find it will be an incredibly rewarding experience for you, too.

As a Special Olympics volunteer, you'll not only be giving back to the community, you will be changing lives forever — including your own.
