PennDOT Does it again.

PennDOT Does it again.

A protective coating PennDOT uses to prevent potholes somehow is creating them, forcing the highway agency to halt its road-sealing program across Allegheny County.

More than 130 miles of county roads might have to wait for a protective "tar and chip" coating, and some of the nearly 20 miles completed must be repaired because of the failure, which PennDOT can't explain.

It's the first time PennDOT has had a problem with the tar-and-chip mixture.

But it's not the first time that PennDOT has screwed up. In February of 2007, drivers were stuck on a road for more than a day after a snowfall that left 50 miles of traffic jammed on Interstate 78. The governor called it "almost total breakdown in communication" among state agencies.

Personally, I think it's amazing that they can leave you stuck in the winter and then fuck your car up in the summer. If only they paid for the automotive repairs that people have to go through.

The Bucket List - Movie Review

The Bucket List - starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman

From IMDB:
Two terminally ill men escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road trip with a wish list of to-dos before they die.

This movie was only nominated for 1 award. A few days ago I did a review for a movie called "No Country for Old Men" that was nominated for over 84 awards. Personally I think it should've been the other way around.

I honestly enjoyed watching this movie. The two actors were great together. The storyline was really good and it was interesting. I highly recommend this movie to everyone.

This is another movie that I am giving 5 Stars to.

Commercials suck

Alright, it's bad enough that you have that damn JG Wentworth commercial having people shout "It's my money and I want it now" coming on about 50 times a day, now they made it into a fucking opera style commercial. Personally I can't stand opera's and now that they made that stupid ass commercial from that style, I'll never will.

I wish there was away in the tv to filter the commercials that you see. There are some commercials that I like, but the majority of them suck.

Some other stupid ass, boring, fucked up commercials that I'll add to this list are: "Enzyte", "Extenze", "GEICO Auto Insurance", "Girls Gone Wild" (fucking censors ruin it), "Wendy's" (its not way better than fast food, IT IS FAST FOOD), and finally those damn dating commercials that come on around midnight. Oh yeah not to mention those infamous "Infomercials" that come on late at night or all weekend long. Colon Cleanse, Sex Talk (Extenze), Get Rich Quick, Ebay Money, Eliminate Debt.

Fuck all of them and whatever ones I left out.

Genetic Scientists Develop Sheep With Brain Of A Goat

Genetic Scientists Develop Sheep With Brain Of A Goat

It took years of work and millions of dollars but finally scientists have achieved what was heretofore thought impossible, or at least highly unlikely, a sheep with a goat's brain.

--------------

Now here are my thoughts on this.
Why in the world would anyone spend millions of dollars to develop a sheep with the brain of a goat. Besides wasting tons of money, what is the point? Myself, I see no point. It's like NASA sending shit to Mars to test the soil. Who cares if there is/was life on that planet? It's not like you can go to the airport and buy tickets to travel back and forth from Earth to Mars to visit relatives. Besides who would want to go on that trip, would take forever to get there and back. I think NASA and the other scientists should be spending money on stuff that would actually help in present day or the future. Or if they want to go to another planet, take the prisoners there and just drop them off so that they can dig the soil instead of building machines that cost alot of taxpayers money. Unless thats in the governments budget, which I'm sure most of it comes from us the taxpayer. Personally I have no interest in going to another planet or seeing a sheep with a goats brain.

Fast Food

Ok I have nothing against Wendy's restaurant but when they say "It's waaaay better than fast food. It's Wendy's" really annoys me.

Wendy's, like McDonald's, Burger King, and many other drive-thru restaurants are fast food places. There is nothing different about each restaurant. They all serve burgers, fries, chicken, and salads. Occasionally, they'll serve different items but not often.

They only place that I wouldn't consider fast food would be Dairy Queen since they seem to make you wait in line for about 20 min, even if you call in your order ahead of time.

I really wish the prices at Sonic weren't so high, at least you can get breakfast there through a drive-thru anytime you want.

No Country For Old Men - Movie Review

This is my review for "No Country for Old Men" starring Tommy Lee Jones.

From IMDB:
Violence and mayhem ensue after a hunter stumbles upon some dead bodies, a stash of heroin and more than $2 million in cash near the Rio Grande

This was one of the most overhyped movies that I've heard about. The movie was nominated for numerous awards and won 4 Oscars and 84 others. To be perfectly honest with you I didnt make it through the movie. I fell asleep during it because I was bored outta my mind.
So I'm just gonna go ahead and give this movie 1 star outta 5, just because it had some violence in it.

Witless Protection - Movie Review

I'm gonna try and do a review of the movie "Witless Protection" starring Larry The Cable Guy.

From IMDB:
The story centers on a small-town sheriff who witnesses what he believes is a kidnapping and rushes to rescue a woman.

Ok, I'm not good at doing reviews, so I'll just say this movie isn't a total wash out.
Overall, to me, it's a good movie. If you like Larry the Cable Guy, I'm sure you'll enjoy this movie.

So I'll give this movie 3 Stars
