Swine Flu

I don't know about you, but I'm seriously tired of hearing about the Swine Flu, or whatever they are deciding to call it now. They even made a dumb song out of it "Blame it on the Swine" a remix to "Blame it on the Alcohol".

Originally I would've like to have gotten it, but now I'm really sick of hearing about it.

I've decided to write about some of the other things that people have but noone is talking about.

Disinfectanttonsilitis - 10 New cases were reported overnight. People using disinfectants are reporting that their tonsils are becoming itchy and they are having a hard time swallowing. There are also reports of people complaining about their tongue turning blue after using these items. Not to worry though, drinking bleach removes the blue color from your tongue and stops the itchy throat.

Eargasms - With so many people worried about STD's these days, more and more people are turning to phone sex. Unfortunately there are some people that actually think by ejaculating into the phones receiver that the girl will be able to receive their sperm. It's also reported that phone sells are up by 15%. Coincidentally, the number of phone sex operators that swallow are up by 15%.

In other news, Exxon Mobile is reporting that profits tumbled 58%. Boo Hoo. Good for them. Those bastards made enough money last year when gas prices hit and went over $4 a gallon.

Also thanks to the government bailouts that we are paying for Chrysler is filing for bankruptcy. The government has sunk about $25 billion in aid into Chrysler and rival General Motors Corp. Personally I don't think we as taxpayers should have to be responsible for their stupidity. If they are going to file bankruptcy they should have to give the money back that the government gave them before or after the filing. I still think that they are charging way too much for new and used vehicles. If they lowered all of the prices (and I'm not just talking about taking a couple hundred dollars off of the sticker price) more people would be likely to purchase a new vehicle.

Pasta Lorenzo

I like food, so I really don't like to write blogs about it. But I'm making an exception in this case.

Friday night we went to Pasta Lorenzo in Uniontown. The building itself is nice, though inside the tables are kinda close and not that big so there isn't alot of room at your table. We got a table and 2 menus (for 4 people). After about 10 minutes the lady finally came over to take our drink order and we say we know what we want can we order our food now, she said no, just drinks. About 10 or 15 minutes later she brings the drinks back, which she screwed up, and takes our order. If you have 4 people at your table and order one appetizer off the menu, shouldn't the waitress tell you that it only comes in a serving of 3 so that you can order something else? Not this one! Anyway, she brings out the salads since we all order either chicken or eggplant parmigiana. One of the salads has a hair wrapped around the vegetables, needless to say that salad didnt get eaten and since the food didnt come out yet, it wasn't going back. When the food finally arrived, later on, it wasn't that good. The chicken tasted burnt to me. Not sure about the others. The only good part was the bread if you got the little rectangular pieces. Unfortunately it was mixed in with sliced italian bread. And they didnt taste the same.

Needless to say, I am not going back there. Personally I think the service sucks and the food could be better.

Thats my opinion though, so don't run with it or you might trip.

Politics

Ok I'm really not that political, hell this is the first year I've ever even voted. My personal preference for the White House, was Hillary Clinton. I really liked what Bill Clinton was able to do while he was in Office and figured that his wife could do the same. I was never totally against Obama, just don't like his middle name - "Hussein". We just got rid of one Hussein, so what's the point in putting another one in office. I received a phone call from the Republican Party not long after the election ended a couple months ago and they asked if I had to vote that day, who would I vote for? I came out and bluntly told them I'd do a write-in for Clinton and the guy didnt know what to say. But I think I've made up my mind about who I'm going to vote for in this coming election.

I'm not basing my decision on age, race, or religion, fact or fiction. Hell I'm not basing my decision on anything.

Oh yeah just another thing I should mention, I'm not a "green" person. I really could care less about the O-Zone. The only thing that I do to help is buy those long lasting light bulbs and thats only because they are supposed to save you money.

The commercials are childish from McCain and both are basically repeating the same things, mainly about energy and global warming.

I don't know nor do I care who their choices for running mates are. I've noticed that Obama chose a white guy and McCain chose a woman. A big Woo hoo there.

I did see this recently. Sarah Palin, Sen. John McCain's chosen running mate, announces that her unmarried 17-year-old daughter is pregnant. And all I have to say is who cares? Not that she is pregnant, I say congrats on that. I say who cares to the fact that she is 17 years old and unmarried. There are a lot of young girls that are pregnant and most of them are younger than 17 years old and not married. Why make a big deal about it and broadcast it over the news. Maybe I missed something or maybe I just don't care.

The Republicans fucked everything up for the past 8 years (War, inflation, gas, alcohol, hurricanes, illness, terrorism, piracy, everything.) Even if the Republicans didn't cause it I still blame them and not just the president I am blaming the whole damn Republican Party. Those money spending, greedy bastards. Yeah I seen on the news McCain asked you not to have any parties until after Hurrican Gustav made landfall, but did you listen. NO. On the news all of you greedy money laundering people were partying trying to hide behind plants and stuff so that your faces weren't shown on T.V. Or When you did speak to the camera's you said you didn't care.

More than likely I'll be voting for Obama. I just hope that Obama's choices are for the better of the U.S. and not just to try and make people in Washington happy.

Either way its a "Fucked Up World" and we just live in it.

Maybe one day when all the people are done looking for problems someone will find a solution.

Too fat for execution ?

Ohio inmate says he's too fat for execution. I say he's full of shit.
This inmate is sentenced to die for raping and murdering two young women in 1986. His execution is scheduled for Oct. 14. Thats the prison system for you, feed them, clothe them and educate them. Like I've said before in previous posts, if you were sentenced to die, don't waste the tax payers money, execute them that day. That way the inmates don't have the opportunity to find ways around being executed. I think this inmate in particular, because he is making the claim himself, should executed on his scheduled day, if the first shot thats supposed to put him to sleep doesn't work, fuck it. I'm sure the girls that he killed were still awake when they were murdered. He should be shot up with the lethal drugs until it does take effect. Thats just my opinion though.

ladies and gentlemen, this one is for you.

Ever set at home watching TV when the news interrupts with severe weather "Tornado Warning"? Your like damn i'm missing Celebrity Family Fued and the TV station will never replay it, so your pretty much screwed and have to wait for a re-run.

So you set there and your hearing, if your in this location, seek shelter as you are in danger of getting hit by a strong storm possible Tornado. Or if you live in a trailer/mobile home, go into a brick complex or lay in a ditch, just cover your head.

Your really telling me that laying outside in a Ditch is safer than staying in your home. Come on

Not only can this be a bunch of shit, but I want to know which cable/satellite provider, and electric company has enough signal to work in these extreme conditions that the people in those areas can still see whats going on. Normally, if theres extreme weather advisories, shortly you will hear a broadcasts so many people are left without power this evening. Ill bet its the fuckers that were in the storms path who is still setting there wondering whats going on in their area.

Tv stations should be able to broadcasts to certain areas, if nothings going on in your area, your service should be uninterrupted.

It should be like the Emergency Broadcast System. BEEEEEEP .. Oh wait, they cant get that to work either. if they did my TV didnt break though saying BEEEEEEEEEEEEEP this is an EMERGENCY Please take shelter. Maybe it should be like the Tsunami warning. oh shit my bad.. Maybe it should be like the Earthquake any signs of rumbling RUN, nah might not work. or the colored levels of National Security, Red = Tornado, White = Snow / Blizzard Blue = Calm, Black = GET THE FUCK OUT. nah then we'd be screwed into seeing mike lapointe all day.

Ok, below is an article thaty I read from a newspaper. Here are some of my thoughts on it. If the guy was sentenced to death, why are they going to have a hearing to determine if he is a sexually violent predator. He was found guilty of rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, and sexual assault, yeah I would say that he is a sexually violent predator. I don't think it takes a judge, jury or even a genius to figure that one out. Everyone has a right to a fair trial, but if you're convicted of a crime and sentenced to death, what are they waiting for? I say kill him now and move on to the next wack job.
I think all the people that are sentenced to death should be lined up right now or after their sentencing and get it over with, why wait, they didnt make the people they killed wait. This way they wouldn't waste as much of the tax payers money as they do by letting them sit in prison.

Sentencing set for man convicted in girl's death

Sentencing for a Fayette County man convicted of murdering and raping a 12-year-old Greene County girl in June 2006 has been rescheduled to 10 a.m. Aug. 21.

In May, a Greene County jury found Jeffrey Robert Martin, 50, of New Geneva guilty in the strangulation death and rape of Gabrielle Bechen of Dunkard Township and sentenced him to death.

The sentencing was scheduled for today.

At the Aug. 21 sentencing hearing before Greene County President Judge H. Terry Grimes, Martin will be formally sentenced on the first-degree murder conviction and sexual assault charges.

A hearing to determine if Martin, a Greene County native, is a sexually violent predator under Megan's Law could be held before the sentencing.

A pre-sentence investigation and Megan's Law evaluation of Martin have been completed.

County prosecutors argued that Martin raped the girl and then killed her, buried her body and other evidence on a farm where he worked to conceal the crime.

Bechen's June 13, 2006, disappearance triggered an extensive search involving state police, FBI agents and hundreds of volunteers.

Martin confessed to killing the girl and led police to where he buried the body on June 17 after a pair of the volunteer searchers found the all-terrain vehicle Bechen rode from her home to the nearby farm on Mount Joy Road where Martin worked. The body, ATV and other evidence were found buried at different sites on the farm.

A recorded confession he made to police was played in court, but Martin told a different story when he testified.

In the confession, Martin said he strangled the girl after she drove her ATV to the farm and told him she was going to tell her parents he molested her. On the witness stand, he said a man ran out of gasoline in front of the farm and offered him $100 to help him dispose of an ATV he had in the bed of his truck.

Martin testified that he saw a body inside the truck after he and the man finished burying the ATV.

He said he went back to work, but the man drove a backhoe and took lime from the farm, buried the girl and then showed him the gravesite.

Martin also claimed police abused and tortured him to make him confess.

During the sentencing phase of the trial, a brother and sister of Martin's described a dysfunctional upbringing with alcoholic and abusive parents. They also said Martin was in special education student who quit school in 10th grade.

In addition to first-degree murder, Martin was found guilty of rape of a child, aggravated assault, aggravated indecent assault, statutory sexual assault, sexual assault, abuse of a corpse and four counts of tampering with evidence.
